Wood Burning

All my pieces are done by hand. I first create a digital design and then carbon copy transfer the design onto the wood. From there the wood burning is done completely by hand, drawing the design onto the wood. This method gives my pieces a textured look and keeps them from looking mass produced. It also makes each one completely unique in its own way.

My most popular pieces are coasters. I have a wide selection of designs that I have already created, however the world is your oyster! I am happy to work with you to design something that speaks to you. These are done on either birch or maple rounds that are locally sourced and dried. They can be stained with just a simple polyurethane coat, or with added color if desired.

Signs are another popular option! if the intended location is for outdoor use, I like to put an epoxy resin coating over the piece to give it added protection and make it much easier to clean. These can make a great gift, just let me know what you would like and I can make it a reality.
